Kenya Defence Forces troops serving under the African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia conducted a Civil-Military Cooperation activity and Key Leadership Engagement at Hoosingo Junior School. The engagement brought together community leaders, educators, pupils and residents, including the District Officer and village elders, alongside the school administration and teachers. It provided a platform for interaction with pupils on the importance of education, discipline, good character and responsible conduct. Recognising education as an important foundation for individual and community development, the troops presented books and writing materials to pupils who had excelled in the previous national examinations.
