The Thomson Foundation announced the finalists on Tuesday, following its assessment of "651 stories submitted by 217 journalists from 56 countries." A PREMIUM TIMES journalist has been shortlisted for the Thomson Foundation Young Journalist of the Year Award. The shortlisting recognises excellence in journalism among young reporters globally. The foundation selected finalists based on the quality of their submitted works.
