The Greenville County Coroner's Office has ruled the death of actor Hayden Panettiere as an accident. Panettiere, known for her roles in "Nashville" and "Heroes," died on August 16 at the age of 36. The coroner's statement said the cause of death was the toxic effects of fentanyl and other drugs, including 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol, and quetiapine. There were no signs of trauma. In May, Panettiere released a memoir detailing her struggles with postpartum depression and alcoholism. Her father, Skip Panettiere, issued a statement expressing profound sadness and asking for privacy.
