The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Jigawa State foiled an attempt to vandalise a transformer belonging to KEDCO in Gumel Local Government Area. One suspect was arrested in connection with the incident. The NSCDC also recovered armoured cables valued at N2 million. The operation was part of efforts to protect critical infrastructure in the state.
