Fuel Subsidy Debate: Atiku Says SBM Survey Shows Nigerians Have Rejected Tinubu’s Policy

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has said that an SBM Intelligence survey confirms Nigerians have rejected President Bola Tinubu's fuel policy and are demanding immediate relief from the high cost of living. In a statement issued by his Senior Special Assistant on Public Communication, Mr Phrank Shaibu, Atiku noted that 67.4 per cent of respondents want petrol subsidy restored, calling it a damning public verdict on an administration that removed subsidy without a plan. He said the figure represents a growing majority of Nigerians who have rejected Tinubu's economic philosophy and are embracing Atiku's alternative vision of a government that protects its citizens.
