Kylian Mbappe has revealed that he was close to joining Liverpool in 2016 but turned down the move. His mother was a big fan of former Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and wanted him to play at Anfield. Mbappe chose to stay in Paris to play for his hometown club.
