One child is missing and nine others, including two adults, were rescued after a school bus became trapped in floodwater along the Nibo–Isiagu Road in Awka, Anambra State. The incident occurred early Tuesday following a downpour as the children were heading to school. The Anambra State Police Command's Safe School Operatives, working with community members, rescued the victims and have activated a search and rescue operation for the missing child.
