Abdurrazak Abdulmumin, a renowned Dambe traditional martial art champion known as Ebola, has died. He passed away in Abuja on Sunday and was buried according to Islamic rites on Monday. Abdulmumin was celebrated for his towering stature and powerful left-handed blows, and is regarded as one of the greatest Dambe warriors. Born and raised in Kaduna State to a Sokoto descent, he began his Dambe career through casual hunting, following in the footsteps of his elder brother, Dogon Auta, also a famed warrior. Despite being forced into retirement by intermittent sickness, he had defeated all leading fighters from the rival Jamus camp.
