Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde has denied receiving ₦50 billion from President Bola Tinubu for the Ibadan airport project. He stated that the airport expansion is being funded entirely by the state government. Makinde also pledged to transmit power to the vice president whenever he is unavailable if elected president in 2027.
