Gunmen ambushed security operatives attached to Operation Rainbow in Bariki Ladi Local Government Area of Plateau State on Tuesday, killing a policeman. In a separate incident in Rakok, also in Barkin Ladi LGA, three civilians were reportedly killed. The attacks brought the death toll to four amid renewed violence in the area. The state government had imposed a dusk-to-dawn curfew on Monday.
