Commercial flights from Gusau International Airport to Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, will begin next month, in October 2026. The Zamfara State Government announced this after signing an Air Route Development Partnership Agreement with XEJet Limited for scheduled commercial flights between Gusau and Abuja on Monday. The Memorandum of Understanding was signed to improve connectivity and facilitate business, investment, tourism, and economic growth in Zamfara State. The signing ceremony was chaired by Deputy Governor Malam Mani Mummuni, with the Secretary to the State Government, Malam Abubakar Mohammed Nakwada, signing on behalf of the state government.
