NAFDAC has registered seven rapid test kits manufactured by Ash Biomedical Diagnostics Limited for HIV, malaria, hepatitis, and pregnancy. The products include ABD HIVChek, MalChek, MalChek Plus, HepaQuik, HepaQuik Duo, PregSure, and FlaviQuik. FlaviQuik is for Hepatitis C, while HepaQuik Duo screens for both Hepatitis B and C. The availability of these tests could provide healthcare facilities with additional options for identifying people who may need further medical attention.
