The Zamfara State Ministry of Health, in collaboration with the World Health Organisation, has conducted a sensitisation and training for health workers on cholera, diphtheria, AFP, and other vaccine-preventable diseases. The training was held at Darma Hotel in Gusau. It aimed to strengthen the capacity of clinicians to detect, assess, report, manage, and respond to cases of these diseases.
