Hajiya Huriyya Lawal, wife of the Zamfara State governor, has won The Sun newspaper's First Lady of the Year award for 2026. The award was announced by The Sun Publishing Limited after a rigorous selection process by its Board of Editors. The formal presentation will take place on November 13, 2026, in Lagos.
