The Super Eagles held their first training session in Uyo ahead of their 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Madagascar and Guinea-Bissau. Twenty-three players participated, with only goalkeeper Maduka Okoye absent. Okoye was granted permission to attend to family and personal matters and is expected to arrive in camp on Thursday. Captain Wilfred Ndidi, winger Samuel Chukwueze, and goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali were the last to arrive.
