Dutch energy firm Energy Ventures BV has begun steps to convert about five million standard cubic feet of flared gas per day into electricity and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) in Rivers State. The company's CEO, Herbert Okibe, disclosed this during a visit to the project site and meetings with partners, including the Port Harcourt Electricity Distribution Company (PHED). The project aims to transform environmental waste into sustainable energy for underserved communities. Energy Ventures BV is the parent company of Africa Gas Technology Company Limited.
