Wilmar International, through its subsidiaries Biase Plantations and Eyop Industries Limited, has engaged host communities and stakeholders over a proposed oil palm plantation. The project involves converting the 8,550-hectare Uyanga Rubber Estate in Akamkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State. The engagement was coordinated by the Federal Ministry of Environment.
