A gully erosion site in Ogwashi-Uku, Aniocha South Local Government Area of Delta State, is threatening over 200 houses in the Ogbe-Ahor and Ogbe-Umuokwuni quarters. An investigation by the Nigerian Tribune found that the deep and steep chasm has forced several households to evacuate the affected areas. The erosion continues to advance, putting more structures at risk.
