Bamanga Tukur Was A Detribalised Nigerian, Says Akpabio

Senate President Godswill Akpabio has described the late Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), as a detribalised Nigerian whose contributions transcended ethnic and political boundaries. Akpabio made the remark during a condolence visit to Tukur's family on Tuesday, following his return from Italy. He recalled his personal relationship with Tukur, noting that Tukur chaired an event he attended in London in 2009. Akpabio said Tukur left a legacy of love, wisdom, and service to the nation.
