Ogun Monarch, Residents Seek Establishment of Customs Training School in Domain

The Onimeko of Imeko, Oba Benjamin Alabi Olanite, and residents of the border town in Ogun State have appealed to the federal government to establish a Nigeria Customs Service training school in the area. The appeal was made at a press conference marking the 2026 annual Imeko Festival and Imeko Day. Community leaders, including Professor Anthony Asiwaju and Dr. Dele Ogunsiji, joined the royal father to raise concerns over educational challenges facing residents. Oba Olanite highlighted Imeko's strategic location and historical connection to Nigeria's frontier.
