A coalition of Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) has called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to remove Barrister Deji Adeyanju from the presidential probe panel investigating the deaths of illegal miners in Niger State. The coalition, through the Solid Hands Empowerment Initiative for the Development of Rural Areas, made the call in a statement in Abuja. The 10-member committee, chaired by retired Deputy Director-General of the Department of State Services Jonathan Kure, was constituted to investigate the circumstances surrounding the arrest, detention, and deaths of the miners.
