The Edo State Police Command has arrested 10 suspects over alleged involvement in various crimes in the state. According to the Commissioner of Police, Patrick Daaor, the suspects were arrested within one week following an ongoing crackdown on criminal elements. He said the police also neutralised one suspected kidnapper during the period under review. The suspects were arrested for kidnapping, murder, defilement, rape, armed robbery, among others. The command also recovered one AK-47 rifle, 10 rounds of 7.62mm live ammunition, and one barrette pistol with 14 live ammunition. Daaor assured residents that no effort would be spared in bringing perpetrators to justice and ensuring safety, and called on the public to remain vigilant and provide credible information to the police.
