Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has dismissed claims by Labour Party presidential candidate Peter Obi and the 'Obidient' movement that they won the 2023 presidential election in Rivers State. Speaking on TVC's Journalists Hangout programme, Wike said their victories existed only in their imagination, insisting that political victories are determined at polling units and declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission, not on social media. He questioned whether shouting 'Obi' at Timber Market in Rivers State constitutes winning an election. Wike also asserted that he will have the easiest election in 2027.
