Foreign-owned banks accounted for 71.1% of the secured credit registered by banks in Ghana during the second quarter of 2026. The total secured lending market for the period stood at GH¢19.86 billion, equivalent to $1.757 billion. The figures indicate that foreign-owned institutions held a dominant share of secured lending activity over the quarter.
