Aliko Dangote, President and CEO of Dangote Industries Limited, announced plans for the Aliko Dangote Foundation to collaborate with state governments to empower vulnerable women through participation in the Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals Limited Initial Public Offering (IPO). The announcement was made in New York during the 81st United Nations General Assembly. The initiative aims to support two million women in owning shares in the refinery. The move is part of efforts to promote economic inclusion.
