The Edo State government has begun enforcing the ban on sachet alcoholic drinks. This follows the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control (NAFDAC)'s announcement in January of a nationwide ban on alcoholic beverages packaged in sachets and pet bottles below 200ml. The enforcement aims to regulate the sale and consumption of such products.
