Oyedele seeks affordable capital to finance African’s infrastructure

Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy Taiwo Oyedele has called on the international community to provide affordable capital to finance Africa's infrastructure. He made the call at the United Nations Dialogue on Solutions to Climate Finance in New York, held on the margins of the 81st UN General Assembly. Oyedele noted that Africa's development ambitions, particularly energy needs, are constrained by high financing costs, currency risks and limited access to long-term capital.
