The arraignment of Ufoma Joseph Immanuel, Founder, Managing Director and CEO of Chappal Energies, before the High Court of Lagos State, Ikeja Division, over the alleged theft of an official vehicle is set to proceed. In Charge No: 28400C/26, the police allege that Immanuel conspired with others to steal a Lexus Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) LA 600F belonging to Chappal Energies Offshore Limited. Immanuel is also standing trial before Justice Mojisola Dada on a criminal charge brought by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) following a petition by his business partner, Adebisi Adebutu. The EFCC case arose from a dispute involving commercial investment arrangements.
