Poland's Office of Competition and Consumer Protection opened a preliminary investigation on 26 August 2026 into seven licensed bookmakers, including STS, Fortuna, Superbet, Fuksiarz.pl, E-toto, LV Bet and Totalbet. The regulator is examining terms and conditions as well as website and app design for so-called dark patterns that may push consumers toward more frequent play or make stopping harder. The development has drawn attention to how promotional casino offers are structured and presented to users.
