The Social Democratic Party's counsel, Mr Akinbuli, did not appear at the tribunal sitting and instead sent a letter requesting an adjournment. The adjournment was sought pending the Court of Appeal's decision on an application to relocate the hearing venue. The Court of Appeal has rejected the request to move the venue.
