The Lagos State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expelled former Agege Local Government chairman Ganiyu Egunjobi and Mr. Azeez Yusuf. The party cited anti-party activities, disloyalty, and conduct inimical to its integrity and discipline. The two had contested APC primary elections for Agege Constituency I and II in the 2026 Lagos State House of Assembly nomination process but failed to secure tickets, and subsequently obtained tickets from another party, APM. State APC Chairman Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi described their conduct as a clear repudiation of party obligations.
