The Youth Wing of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) in the South-East Zone has commenced a grassroots mobilisation campaign across the five states of the region ahead of the 2027 general elections. The campaign aims to take the party's message to markets, campuses, communities, and wards in Abia, Anambra, Ebonyi, Enugu, and Imo states. The mobilisation drive was launched in Enugu during the NDC 2026 Zonal Market and Campus Tour. A communiqué signed by zonal youth leader Mazi Igwe Ogbonnaya and Enugu Youth Leader Engr. Jideofor Richard stated that the initiative is aimed at expanding the party's structures and engaging young people across the region.
