The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) is collaborating with the Nigeria Police Force to identify and arrest perpetrators of pre-election violence ahead of the 2027 general elections. INEC Chairman, Prof. Joash Amupitan, disclosed this at a conference in Owerri, Imo State. He also stated that there are no predetermined results for the 2027 polls and that pending primary litigations will not stop the elections.
