Quantum computing stocks rose on Wednesday, led by IonQ after the company reported a technological breakthrough and a new deal to install its quantum tech in Nvidia's Accelerated Quantum Research Center. IonQ's stock surged as much as 13% before paring gains. Other quantum stocks, including Rigetti Computing and Quantum Computing Inc., also saw increases of around 7%. The rally was driven by the announcement and retail trader interest.
