North West municipalities and support institutions were given an opportunity to engage on the management of available grant funding and the responsibilities required to ensure the resources are used for their intended purposes. The North West Provincial Treasury, in collaboration with the National Treasury, the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, and the National and Provincial Disaster Management Centres, held a Municipal Unspent Infrastructure Grant Roll-Over engagement session in Haartebeespoort. The session aimed to strengthen municipal implementation and management of key infrastructure grants. It was held in accordance with Municipal Finance Management Act Circular No. 134, which outlines rules, deadlines, and documentation for rollover applications under Section 21(2) of the 2025 Division of Revenue Act.
