The Kano State Multi-Agency Task Force on Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking has arrested 380 suspects and recovered dangerous weapons in a two-month crackdown. The task force chairman, Muhuyi Magaji Rimin Gado, disclosed this at a press briefing, stating that over 230 convictions have been secured. The operations targeted notorious black spots across the state, including Race Course, Filin Idi, and Kawo Area. The task force is now aiming to rehabilitate, provide skills acquisition, and reintegrate 10,000 youths.
