Rural Americans are increasingly fed up with data centers

A new Pew Research Center poll shows that rural Americans are increasingly opposed to data centers near them. Half of rural respondents said data centers are mostly bad for the environment, up from 32% in January. Additionally, 46% said data centers would drive up home energy costs, and 45% said they negatively impact quality of life, increases from earlier in the year.
