President Dr Patrick Herminie witnessed the signing of a Visa Waiver Agreement between Seychelles and Tajikistan on the margins of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. The agreement was signed by Seychelles' Minister for Foreign Affairs and Diaspora, Mr Barry Faure, and Tajikistan's Minister of Foreign Affairs, H.E. Mr Sirojiddin Muhriddin. Under the agreement, citizens holding valid diplomatic, service, official, or ordinary passports will be exempt from visa requirements for short stays. Each visit may last up to 30 days, with a cumulative stay not exceeding 90 days within a calendar year.
