Nigeria and Italy strengthened collaboration to implement the proposed Global Partnership for Education (GPE) financing campaign, targeting $5 billion for education financing worldwide. President Bola Tinubu said the GPE vision aligns with Nigeria's agenda to improve educational outcomes by investing in access and capacity building for teachers. The event took place on the margins of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Vice President Shettima also stated that education is driving Nigeria's economic future and prosperity.
