Industry stakeholders have called on the federal government, regulators and private sector players to rethink Nigeria's digital infrastructure strategy to attract investments and drive innovation. The call was made in Lagos at the Telecom Sector Sustainability Forum hosted by Business Remarks. Chairman of the Association of Licensed Telecoms Operators of Nigeria, Mr. Gbenga Adebayo, said the telecom industry has performed well in its over 25 years of existence and urged more investment in digital infrastructure. The Executive Secretary and Chief Operating Officer of the Association of Telecommunications Companies of Nigeria, Ajibola Olude, called for renewed focus on talent development, rural inclusion and infrastructure.
