AfCFTA Secretary-General Wamkele Mene said Africa must strengthen its capacity to deliver payment systems, efficient borders, and infrastructure for businesses to benefit from continental trade. Mene outlined priorities including aligning national policies, modernising customs, and enabling cross-border payments in local currencies.
