Vice President Kashim Shettima will declare open the 22nd All Nigeria Editors Conference in Enugu today. The two-day conference, organised by the Nigerian Guild of Editors, will hold at The Dome, International Conference Centre, Enugu. The theme is 'The Ballot, the Media and the Task of Keeping Democracy Alive,' with a sub-theme on detecting and debunking AI disinformation before, during and after elections. Shettima is expected to address editors and participants on democracy, elections, and press freedom.
