Prince Adeyinka Anthony Adeboye, Senior Special Adviser to the President on Grassroots Sports Development, has urged the Super Eagles to avoid a poor start in their 2027 AFCON qualifiers. The team will play Madagascar on Friday at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium before facing Guinea-Bissau in Bissau. Adeboye advised the players to approach the matches with patriotism and seriousness, warning against complacency. He reminded them of the consequences of the last World Cup qualifiers, where Nigeria failed to qualify.
