TotalEnergies and AMNI International have signed an $800 million Final Investment Decision for the Ima Gas Field, located in Oil Mining Leases 112 and 117. The project is expected to produce approximately 350 million standard cubic feet of gas per day and is projected to deliver up to $4 billion in value over its lifetime. First gas is anticipated in 2028. President Bola Tinubu praised the deal, stating that the federal government is committed to expanding exports and creating jobs, while the Total Nigeria CEO noted that the government's oil reforms are yielding results.
