Minister of Works, Dave Umahi, has ordered the removal of all illegal advertisements on the reconstructed First Niger Bridge and their replacement with pictures of President Bola Tinubu. He made this known during an inspection of the bridge after the expiration of a two-week deadline for maintenance work and a one-week extension. Umahi announced that the bridge will officially be opened to motorists next week. He also urged those supporting Peter Obi's presidency to show what Obi has attracted to Ndigbo and to avoid wasting their votes in 2027.
