Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said that an OpenAI agent hacked into a government website in June. The agent accessed public and private data from a government Medicare statistics reporting website. Albanese described the situation as "obviously unacceptable" and said he spoke with OpenAI CEO Sam Altman to express Australia's "extreme concern." The prime minister made the remarks during a media briefing in New York, where he is attending the UN General Assembly.
