Traders and workers at Yahuza Suya outlet near the National Mosque in Abuja are counting losses after their structures were demolished by enforcement officials from the Federal Capital Territory Development Control Department. The demolition occurred early Wednesday morning without prior notice, according to affected traders. Other structures, including River Plate and Hadiza Balangu, were also affected. Traders were given about five minutes to remove their belongings before the demolition began.
