Argentine President Javier Milei criticized the United Nations in a speech on Wednesday, calling it a "useless organization" filled with "arrogant parasites." He accused the UN of failing to guarantee collective security and human rights, and of allowing chaos, violence, and international terrorism to flourish. Milei also said the organization has looked the other way on Argentina's claim to the Falkland Islands.
