The Lagos State chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has expelled Chief Ganiyu Kolawole Egunjobi and Mr Azeez Yusuf for anti-party activities, disloyalty, and conduct deemed inimical to the party's integrity and discipline. The two individuals contested in the APC primary elections for Agege Constituency I and Agege Constituency II in the 2026 Lagos State House of Assembly nomination process but failed to secure tickets. According to a statement signed by state chairman Pastor Cornelius Ojelabi, they subsequently obtained tickets from another political party, which the party views as a clear repudiation of their membership obligations.
