Nigeria recorded a trade surplus of N466.79 billion in raw materials in the first half of 2026, a sharp reversal from the N1.67 trillion deficit in the same period of 2025. The surplus was driven by exports more than doubling while imports declined. The data highlights a significant improvement in the country's raw material trade balance.
